ConstructionOne website, two audiences: commercial clients and homeowners
Linx Contracting is a West Midlands construction company doing commercial fit-outs and refurbishments, plus high-end home renovations through Linx Homes. They needed one website that served both markets without watering either down.
What needed solving
Commercial clients want to see capability, sector experience and proof of delivering on time and on budget. Homeowners want reassurance, craftsmanship and to know their home will be treated with care.
Putting both into one standard contractor website would have left each audience wading through content meant for the other.
How we approached it
Visitors choose Commercial or Domestic from the first screen, then enter a site designed around their needs. The commercial side is confident and detailed, with sectors and case studies for offices, hospitality, education and retail.
The domestic side is warmer and more aspirational, focusing on beautiful spaces, skilled work and a well-run renovation. Each side has its own navigation, service pages, portfolio and enquiry form.
How we built it
We mapped what each audience needed to know before making an enquiry, then built a shared visual system that keeps both sides recognisably Linx. Yellow accents mark the commercial identity, while green gives Linx Homes a softer, residential feel.
Service and project templates mean Linx can add new sectors, services and case studies without a redesign.
